Rackmount console drawers are cost-effective and space-saving rack units that are available in single port, 8 port, 16 port, or 32 port DVI KVM switch. A KVM switch is a hardware device that allows a user to control multiple computers from a single keyboard, video monitor, and mouse. Since KVMs can offer different methods of connecting to the computers, its versatility allows it to connect to a monitor, keyboard, and mouse (and audio if provided for) to the console port on the KVM device and the computers to the other ports.

Acnodes provides a video display called a DVI (Digital Video Interface), which is used to connect a video source to a display device, such as a computer monitor through the digital interface. DVI-D is used for direct digital connections between the source video and LCD monitors display. All video cards initially produce a digital video signal, which is converted into analog at the VGA output. The analog signal travels to the monitor and is re-converted to a digital signal. The DVI-D eliminates the analog conversion process and improves the connection between source and display.
