PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 
PM-S0057 is a 5.7-inch industrial open frame monitor featuring the construction of excellent strength to weight ratio, heavy-duty steel. Industrial monitors like the PM-S0057 are better equipped with the proper protections for harsh environments than commercial monitors. This particular category features monitors that are capable of viewing in high brightness environments like outdoor sunny applications. The monitor provides an LED backlight, 400 nit brightness as well as options for 700/1000 nits high brightness for sunny environments. The PM-20057 provides industrial-grade touch screens. Touch screens allow convenient interactions between the users and the display by simply touching with his or her finger and save space instead of using a mouse console and keyboard. Users have the option to choose a resistive type or capacitive type touch screen for the different applications they might have. The monitor also comes with anti-reflective coating (AR) to work with more vibrant/visible images. Resistive type touch screens are composed of a flexible film called polyethylene on top and a rigid glass layer on the bottom. Resistive type touch screens are durable and resistant to liquids and dust. They can be operated with any object including, but not limited to: finger, gloved hand, pen, stylus, and rods. The next option to consider is capacitive type touch screens. These are commonly utilized in smartphone and tablet technologies around the market today. Capacitive types are different then resistive touch screens with their exceptionally accurate and fast responses from the touch. Capacitive touch screens can be operated by electrical currents from the human finger. These screens provide superior image clarity and perfect for outdoor applications. The rugged monitor provides one VGA port (15 pin female D-Sub), one PC Audio (stereo headphone jack), and one DC power plug. The PM-20057 features adaptable technology with external auto-sensing 90 to 260VAC, 50/ 60Hz power adapter. The audio system provides two 2W speakers. Open frame monitors like the PM-S0057 are capable of operating at very wide ranges of temperatures for harsh industrial environments and weather changes at -30°C to 80°C (22°F to 176°F).
