Cat6 KVM switch with 8 / 16 / 32 x RJ45 Cat6 KVM ports and 1 x cascade proprietary in/out port in a 1U high rackmount enclosure. The KVM switch supports 3 user consoles (local, remote, or IP remote console) and various video inputs with resolutions up to 1080P. Options are available for dongles (VGA-PS/2, VGA-USB, & DVI-USB) and DC power input.
REFERENCE What is a Cat6 KVM Switch? Cat6 KVM remote ports provide the user console to access the rackmount server through Cat6 Ethernet cable (up to 150 meters) with a receiver (supported VGA, DVI, PS/2 & USB port). The user profiles can be configured by the OSD menu (multi-lingual supported) or hotkey function and eight characters password protection. The front panel control includes an LED indicator for the bank & KVM ports and membrane buttons for each KVM port and one bank selection button. The local remote KVM device design allows users to control computer equipment up to 1000' feet away from the user consoles (keyboard, monitor, and mouse). They include support for standard category 5 cabling between computers and users interconnected by the switch device. Category 5 based KVM device communication uses proprietary protocols across what can be considered a "closed-loop" local area network infrastructure. In contrast to remote over IP devices, users operate computers in "real-time" because there is no noticeable latency in communication between user consoles and computers.
