What's Inside

The Housing:   1U chassis made of heavy-duty, cold-rolled steel. It has a front door that locks via two thumbscrews. Front panel controls include on/off switch, syst5em reset, one PS/2, two USB ports, one serial port and one parallel port as well as LEDS to monitor power and hard drive. There is also room in the back for an additional serial port and another USB port. Five 4cm ball-bearing fans provide cooling. Power is provided by a slim 300W 85-245VAC-power supply. Slot openings accommodate the single board computer and one daughter bracket plus two half-length PCI slots. Color: Black. Storage Devices:   The chassis has a slim 5.25” drive bay for CD/DVD reader/writer, an hidden 3.5” bays for hard drives. Standard configuration includes a 24X CD-ROM and a 80GB IDE hard drive. Other configurations are available. System Board:   PICMG standard single board computer with onboard audio, video and 10/100BT Ethernet. Standard I/Os include 1 PS/2 (Y cable provided for keyboard and mouse), 1 serial, 1 parallel, 2 USB 2.0, 1 RJ-45, 15-pin VGA and line-in, speaker-out and microphone jacks. Standard configuration includes Intel Pentium D 2066GHz processor and 256MB RAM. Other configurations are available. Expansion slots:  Two half-length PCI slots are available for expansion cards. Power Supply:  Slim-size 1U 300W ATX power supply. Mounting:  Front ears with standard 19-inch rackmount mounting holes allow front mounting to any standard 19-inch rack.
