What's Inside

LCD panel and touch screen:   The 17" 1280x1024 LCD panel is a TFT active type digital to digital which connects to the on board video, It comes wiith standard 15-pin VGA connector on the back of the panel pc for the external display, The resistive type touch screen is mounted on the front of the LCD panel and uses a 5-wire connection to the on-board COM port (standard on COM-3). The touch screen provides protection for the LCD panel and is sealed around the front panel housing to prevent water and dust (NEMA 4/12 rated). On board system board:   The embedded system board (Intel 945G chip-set, Socket 775, Dual Core 1.8GHz, up to 2.5GHz) provides the power of the operation, it's comes with the features of the standard mother board and the additional function for industrial application. It accepts DDR2 667/800 memory (2 x memory sockets up to 4.0GB), 5 RS-232 ports (1 for RS-232/422/485) and on board Dual Gigabyte LAN/ HD Audio, The petite size of board allows it to be mounted into the slim-type panel pc housing. Storage Device:   The system comes standard 2.5" SATA HD with anti-shock device (80GB std, up to 200GB), slim-type CD-ROM (can be upgrade to DVD-RW) and slim-type1.44MB floppy drive (internal). It also provided Compact-flash type-II socket (up to 16GB) for the Windows CE/XP embedded application.
