Rackmount Storage Server Construction
The RMS5824 is a robust rackmount storage server built with SPGC cold-rolled steel for corrosion control and reliable applications. Steel that has been cold rolled results in a more solid material and an excellent strength to weight ratio. This is the same material used to construct stoves, and refrigerators so you can expect durable and better mechanics for industrial applications. The rackmount storage also comes with six cooling fans for better heat control. Slide rails are included for standard 19 inch wide rack mount cabinet mounting.

Featuring the Xeon E5-2600 CPU Processor
This rackmount storage server is equipped with a dual Xeon E5-2600 CPU Processor. The processor delivers up to three times performance improvements for efficient building blocks, industry energy efficiency by reducing the power needs without interference with the system performance, and memory for diverse operations. The processor provides superior large data computing. The Xeon E5 has exceptional memory, lowered latency, improved flexibility and power efficiency. The RMS5824 also features a S2600CP Intel Server Board. The server board provides a five year product life cycle and six PCIe Gen3 slots.

Power Supply
The RMS5824 includes a 1010W AC 1+1 redundant power supply. Redundant power supplies prevent systems failures with its unique supply unit design. The power supply includes two or more power supply units. One supply powers the system at a time, so if one of the units fail, a back up unit take over and making this storage server suitable for high demanding industrial operations.

Input and Output System and Connectors
The rear panel contains LEDs for system statuses and performance. It also comes with one DB-15 video connector, one DB-9 serial port a connection, two RJ-45 10/100/1000mb Ethernet ports and four USB 2.0 ports. The internal input and output systems feature one 2x5 pin connector that provides front panel support for two USB ports, one internal type A USB 2.0 port, one internal USB port to support low profile eUSB SSD, seven expansion slots, one DH-10 serial Port B connectors, one 1x7 pin header and options for a local control panel. Located in the front of the system includes twenty four 3.5” hot-swap drive bays, eight 2.5” drive bays, and two 2.5” rear drive bays. The back plane contains six SFF-8087 and eight SATA/SAS ports.

Environmental Features At 150 pounds, the operational temperatures of the storage rackmount range from 0ºC to 50ºC (32ºF to 122ºF) and a humidity of 5% ~ 95% non-condensing.
