SBA certifies Acnodes Corp
 
Can accept SBA 8(a) contracts
 
Acnodes Corp., of Walnut, California, named one of the fastest growing manufacturers and distributors of rack mountable and panel mountable PCs and peripherals, has been awarded 8(a) Business Development certification by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
 
Certification opens a variety of new federal contracting opportunities for Acnodes. Earlier, Acnodes secured certification as a small disadvantaged business under the SBA's Small Disadvantaged Business Program.

The SBA certification programs are designed to assist qualifying businesses, through business development, to compete fairly in the federal marketplace. All certified participants must substantiate that they are a viable business prior to acceptance into the program. A primary goal is to build community-based small businesses, which in turn revitalizes neighborhoods, creates jobs, and encourages economic growth. 8(a) Business Development Program – Helps qualified businesses compete and access the federal procurement market. The program supports business growth and helps foster meaningful business relationships.
 
Small Disadvantaged Business Program – Empowers small companies to equitably pursue business in both the private and public sector contract arena.
