PLW 8150 portable LCD workstation is designed to make a mobile computer more expandable, powerful and rugged for industrial field testing or military applications. This portable system comes with Intel Core Duo low power processor, multi expansion slot and removable drive bay. A 15" LCD screen is integrated with anti-glared tempered glass to provide better viewing.

What's Inside

The Housing:

PLW 8150 is a portable LCD workstation comes with built-in 15.1-inch 1024x768 TFT LCD montior with a standard 108-key keyboard and touch pad. The housing comes 2 level of the frame, the external level chassis-flame made of retardant ABS plastic and internal level chassis made of aluminum alloy chassis.

LCD monitor:

The 15.1" 1024x768 LCD panel is a TFT active type digital to angle which connects to the on board 15-pin D-video. A Anti-reflection tempered strengthen glass is installed to protect LCD and better viewing. The bulit-in OSD function lets you adjust the LCD monitor for the best view, All the OSD buttons are located on the front of the LCD monitor.

On board embedded system:

The embedded system board equiped a Intel Core Duo 2.0GHz low power procees, it's comes with the features of the standard mother board and the additional function for industrial application. It accepts DDR2 memory (2.0GB standard, up to 4.0GB), 2 x RS-232 ports, dual LAN 10/100/1000BT, video, 1394a and audio. The pettie size of embedded board allows it to be mounted into the compact portable housing.

Storage Device:

The system comes one internal 2.5" SATA-II 100GB HD, slim-type DVD and 1.44MB floppy drive. It also provide 2 SATA-II removable HD bay for the feature storage expansion.

Expansion Slot:

The portable LCD workstation comes with 2 full-size PCI-32 expansion slots that provided addtional expansion space for customer's hardware applications.

Power Bay:

Power bay comes with 1 160W 110/220VAC power suuply, Optional for 190 Watt-hours Smart Packs Battery (2 x battery pack , Hot-Swappable) with external power adapter (Optional, non-revertable).

Keyboard & touch pad:

The 108-key mechanical type keyboard and touch pad is attached on the front of the portable LCD workstation. The on board slide latch release the keyboard and tocuh pad out from the LCD workstation when you are useing it.
