Rack mount storage system can be the external disk array subsystem (DAS). It's comes with RAID system to protect data and hot swappable drive bay, 2 or 4 x 400W 1+1 power supply to minimize hardware down-time, The storage space can be up to 16TB and a selectable controller interface (SCSI/SAS/SATA/ FIBRE) for different data transfer rates.

System configuration:   The on-board RAID engine comes with processor, memory and a RAID controller card. It provides individual sub-storage systems to the entire netowrk or server. The firmware can be upgaraded through an on board input port such as an RS-232 or RJ45 connector. The DAS models are attached to local servers while the NAS models will be attached to network. Disk contorller interface:   The on-board RAID controller interface provides data transfer on each HD. It can be selected from ATA RAID, Ultra-320 SCSI or 2.0GB fibre channel. Each controller provides the different transfer rate. The DAS model comes with standard dual controller for more redundancy and higher performance. HD storage :   The RAID storage system comes with hot-swappable SATA HD BAY and cooler fan to drop system temperature. The front door LCD displays indicate each hard drives status. Each bay comes with it's own individual tray that allows hot swap function and automatically rebuilds hot swaped drive from an on board RAID system. The total storage space can be up to 6.4TB (depending on the SATA HD size) Raid Features and Management:   The RAID supports level 0, 1, 10, 3, 5, 6 and JBOD. It can accomidate multiple RAID sets such as array roaming, online RAID capacity expansion and RAID level migration simultaneously. The RAID configuration and firmware can be modified through serial or LAN ports. Power Supply:    The system comes redundant power supply to prevent dowm-time.    Mounting:    The rackmount storage system can be mounted to a 19" rack cabinet.
