Dual slide rail, rack console comes with 17"/19" LCD, keyboard & touch-pad. The monitor drawer & keyboard with touch-pad drawer can pull out separately from the 1U rack console. Available option for 8/16 port KVM switch, track-ball & touch screen.

GENERAL OVERVIEW

KDM monitor keyboard drawer series provides a dual slide-rail drawer that lets users pull out the monitor and keyboard/touch pad drawer seperatley. All the KDM units come with 17-inch 1280 x 1024 TFT LCD monitor, 105-key keyboard and 2-button touch pad. The KDM 3178/31716 comes with built-in 8 / 16 ports KVM switch that can control multi rack server or workstaion through the 1U KDM series control terminal.   The anti-glare tempered glass is added on the front of the 17-inch LCD monitor to provent impact damage. The OSD function lets you adjust the LCD monitors settings such as brightness, contrast etc. The OSD buttons are located on the front of the LCD monitor for easy access. The monitor can be tilted to a 110 degree horizontal angle when fully retracted. The KDM has an optional resistive-type touch screen with RS-232 port connector.   The KDM series provides a VGA and PS/2 connector on the back of the montior keyboard drawer. The on-board 8/16 port KVM switch can be diasy linked up to 8 levels through the on-baord cascade port. The 8/16 6' KVM cables come standard with KDM 3178/31716. Optional for 10' or 15' KVM cable.

LCD panel:   The 17-inch (1280 x 1024) LCD panel is a TFT active type digital to digital which connects to the on board conversion board,  The LCD monitor comes wiith standard 15-pin VGA connector on the back of the rackmount drawer for your pc system connection, The OSD function lets you adjust the LCD monitor for the best view, All the OSD buttons are located on the front of the LCD monitor for easy access, The monitor can be tilted to a 110 degree horizontal angle. The auto-shut off  function enables whenever the monitor drawer is back to it's rest position. This allows to save LCD montior life. The anti-glare tempered glass is added on the front of 17-inch LCD monitor to provent impact damage to the lcd monitor. Optional for resistive-type touch screen with RS 232 port connector. Keyboard and pointing device:   The keyboard and touch-pad (PS/2 type) mounted on the front of the rackmount drawer underneath the LCD monitor, Both of them come with standard PS/2 type connector on the back of the rackmount drawer for you pc system connection.  The slim-type (notebook size) keyboard comes with function keys and key-pad function. KVM Switch (VGA, Keyboard, touch-pad):     We provide the KVM switch function for your uniqe hardware applications, The 8/16 ports KVM switch is builted into the keyboard drawer and provides the 8/16 KVM ports on the back of the drawer. You can select the PC stations through the OSD (on screen disply) menu or front hot-key buttons. It support hot-plug function and come standard with 6' high-density KVM cable for each individual KVM port. The KVM switch is compabilie with SUN and PC system. Rackmount drawer:   The low profile 1U drawer that save the rack space and integrated the LCD monitor, keyboard and pointing device to a complete unit. The dual ball-bearing slide rails are mounted on each side of the drawer that enables you to pull-out the LCD monitor or keyboard/touch pad drawer seperately from the 19" rack cabinet. The key- lock is installed on the front panel to lock the drawer inside the rack when the monitor keyboard drawer is not in use. KVM Cable for monitor, keyboard and pointing device:    We provide 8/16 x 6' 3- in-1 KVM cable (1x 15 pin VGA port for monitor , 2 x PS/2 port for keyboard and touch pad). Optional for 10' and 15' cable. Power Supply:    It comes with 110/220VAC auto switch power supply.   Mounting:    Monitor keyboard drawer is ready to mount into the standard 19" rack cabinet, the rear mounting bracket cab be extened up to 29.70" deep for the rack server cabinet.
