Monitor keyboard drawer is a rack space saving design rack console for your industrial application. It integrated 17-inch to 20-inch LCD panel, keyboard, pointing device & 8/16/32-port Matriz/Cat6/IP KVM switch into a standard 1U height 19-inch rack mount drawer.

GENERAL OVERVIEW

Rack console comes with keyboard, pointing device, 17-inch to 20-inch LCD monitor and 8/16/32-ports KVM switch into 1U/2U rack drawer.  The self-lock ball-bearing slide rail was mounted on the each side of the drawer and the unique key locking on the front door for secured environments.   The LCD panel provide flick free display and high display resolution. It comes with standard OSD adjustment menu and 15-pin VGA or DVI video-input connector .  The built-in keyboard comes with touch pad or standard optical mouse for accessing the PC systems.   The KVM switch comes with PS/2 or USB connection. OSD menbrane switchs, hot-plug and hot-key functions. It also provided Matrix, KVM over IP and Cat6 function into rack console.   The industrial-grade design features all-in-one terminal-control and ruggedized metal construction for harsh and cost-sensitive computing applications. The low profile 1U/2U height drawer that allows for efficient rack use.

LCD panel:   The 17-inch, 19-inch and 20-inch flat LCD panel is a TFT active type digital to digital which connects to the on board conversion board,  The flick free LCD monitor comes wiith high display resolution and supported Sun native resolution on certain modles (optionla for resistive-type tocuh screen). A standard 15-pin VGA connector on the back of the rackmount drawer for your pc system connection (optinal for DVI and S-video video input connection). The OSD function lets you adjust the LCD monitor for the best view, All the OSD buttons are located on the front of the LCD monitor for easy access, The monitor can be tilted to a 105 degree horizontal angle. The auto-shut off  function enables whenever the monitor drawer is back to it's rest position. This allows to save LCD monitor life. Keyboard and pointing device:   The keyboard and touch-pad mounted on the front of the rackmount drawer underneath the LCD monitor, Both of them come with a connector on the back of the rack mount drawer for you pc system connection.  The slim-type (notebook size) keyboard comes with function keys and key-pad. The mouse device can be touch pad ot track ball device. Rackmount drawer:   The low profile 1U/2U rackmount drawer that save the rack space and integrated the LCD monitor, keyboard and pointing device to a complete unit. The self lock ball-bearing slide rail was mounted on the each side of the drawer that you can pull-out the drawer from the 19" rack cabinet. The Key-locker or thumer locker is installed on the front panel to lock the drawer inside the rack when the monitor keyboard drawer is not using. KVM Switch (VGA, Keyboard, touch-pad):   We provide the KVM switch function for your uniqe hardware applications, The 8/16/32-ports KVM switch is builted into the keyboard drawer and provides the 8/16/32 KVM ports (USB, PS/2, Cat6) on the back of the drawer. You can select the PC stations through the OSD (on screen disply) menu or front hot-key buttons. The KVM over IP technology let you access KVM switch through IP adress (WEB access). The KVM switch comes with a 6' high-density KVM cable or RJ-45 cable with dongle (Cat6 Model) for each individual KVM port. The KVM switch is compabilie with SUN and PC system. Cable for monitor, keyboard and pointing device:   It come standard one 6-feet cable for the single port monitor keyboard drawer. Optional for 10-feet, 15 feet and 25-feet cable. The KVM switch model comes with 6-feet high density KVM cables for each ports. Optional for 10-feet and 15-feet KVM cable. The Cat6 model (KDC series)require RJ-45 cable (not included) with USB or PS/2 dongle (to connect each PC stations. Power Supply:    The open-frme 110/220VAC auto-switch is integrated into the monitor keyboard drawer, Some modles come with 110/220VAC power adapter.    Mounting:    Monitor keyboard drawer is ready to mount into the standard 19" rack cabinet, the rear mounting bracket cab be extened up to 36" deep for the server rack cabinet. The KD 9170 and KD 9150 come with shorter dimension (17.5" depth) for the vehicle or mobile application.
